Social Sharing
Mint a public link to a trader, asset, or trade pod (copy-trade or discretionary) and share it on X, Telegram, or by copying the URL. The recipient does not need an Airavat account to view the share.
What you can share
| Resource | Where to find the Share button | What gets shared |
|---|---|---|
| Trader | Trader detail page header | Trader profile and performance metrics |
| Asset | Asset detail page header | Asset detail (price, volume, open interest, funding rate, max leverage) plus 24h trade stats |
| Copy-trade pod | Pod detail page header | Performance summary and equity curve for that pod |
| Discretionary pod | Pod detail page header | Performance summary and equity curve for that pod |
Every share is a frozen snapshot: the data is captured at mint time and does not update afterward. The public page shows a “snapshot as of …” notice so viewers know exactly what they’re looking at.
How to share
- Open the detail page for the trader, asset, or pod
- Click Share in the page header
- The Share dialog opens with a default message; edit it if you want (280-char max)
- Optionally add a Display name — this is how the share is attributed (“Shared by @you”)
- Click one of:
- Share on X opens X’s compose window with the message and link
- Telegram opens Telegram’s share dialog with the message and link preview
- Copy link copies the URL to your clipboard
The link is minted on the first click of any of the three buttons; subsequent clicks in the same dialog reuse it.
What viewers see
A public viewer who opens a share URL lands on a read-only page built from the frozen snapshot. There are no live calls and no controls to change. An Open in Airavat link takes them to the live product (login required).
Email-alert pods cannot be shared — there is no trading performance to show. Only trade pods have a Share button.
Some pod kinds are veiled on the public share page: a shared pod renders its kind label as “Trading Pod” when its kind isn’t a publicly released paper kind, so the public page never surfaces a pre-launch label. Released paper kinds are labeled normally (a paper copy-trade pod shows “Paper copy trade”, a paper discretionary pod shows “Trade”).
Expiry and revocation
- Expiry: you can set an expiry when minting via the API (up to 1 year out). Expired shares read as not-found. Shares minted from the UI do not expire.
- Revoke: deleting a share makes the URL immediately stop working (the public page reports not-found). Revocation is permanent.
- Shares are no-indexed — search engines are told not to list them.
- Minting is rate-limited (20 shares per hour per account).
